XTracker Self-contained, Hardware-based Position and Status Reporting via Satellite

Now available in two configurations.

GMN XTracker technology provides dependable tracking that sends out position reports at pre-programmed intervals via a proven satellite data link. GPS position reports are recorded, transmitted, and posted on the web in 20 seconds, on average. Both XTracker units have modest power requirements, which make them ideal for remote locations where solar panels or batteries are the only source of electricity. Position reports contain date, time, latitude, longitude, and average course and speed over the ground.

The Xtracker IR uses proven Iridium technology, allowing reports from anywhere in the world.

The XTracker GS uses the Globalstar satellite network which provides coverage over most traveled areas of the planet.

Vessel installation for either model is as simple and easy. XTracker starts submitting position reports immediately upon power up. Everything is controlled from shore, including position reporting and polling intervals. There are no control buttons or switches on the XTracker units. Vessels equipped with XTracker can be monitored on a secure password-protected website or with Google Earth. Position reports can be eMailed to a predefined address or downloaded and displayed on vessels using our XGate software.
